Terms of Use for the App Bienchen

1. Scope

These Terms of Use govern the relationship between Crewz GmbH (hereinafter „we“) and the users of the app Bienchen. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

2. Description of Services

Bienchen is a mobile app that lets you tidy up your photo library by swiping through your photos and sorting them to keep or delete. The processing of your photos takes place exclusively locally on your device.

The basic features of the app are free to use. In addition, we offer optional paid content and features via in-app purchases.

3. In-App Purchases

Paid content and features can be purchased within the app. We offer two types of purchases:

a) One-Time Purchases

• The price is clearly displayed before purchase
• These are one-time purchases with no automatic renewal
• Unlocked content or features do not expire

b) Subscriptions

• The price and billing period are clearly displayed before purchase
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the respective period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Renewals are billed to your app store account
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in the settings of your app store account (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)

4. Payment Processing

Payment processing is handled exclusively by the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). To manage and validate purchases, we use the service RevenueCat.

We do not receive any payment data from you, only a confirmation of the completed purchase.

5. Right of Withdrawal & Refunds

For digital content provided immediately after purchase, the right of withdrawal may lapse once the service has been fully rendered and you have expressly consented to this.

For subscriptions, the terms displayed at the time of purchase apply, along with the cancellation options described in Section 3 b).

Refunds are made exclusively in accordance with the policies of the respective platform provider (Apple or Google).

6. Your Photos and Content

Bienchen accesses your photo library only with your consent. Selecting, keeping, and deleting photos takes place entirely on your device. We have no access to your photos and do not store them.

You are solely responsible for which photos you delete via the app. Deleting photos may be permanent. We recommend creating a backup of your photo library before tidying up.

7. Rights and Obligations of Users

You agree:

• not to misuse the app
• not to circumvent any technical protection measures
• not to reproduce or distribute the app or parts of it without authorization

You are responsible for backing up your own content and photos.

8. Availability of Data

Bienchen can be used without a user account. No content or photos of yours are stored on our servers. All your data remains locally on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

9. Changes to the App / Availability

We reserve the right to change, expand, or discontinue content and features of the app at any time – in particular for technical or legal reasons. There is no entitlement to the permanent availability of individual features.

10. Liability

We are liable only in cases of intent or gross negligence. We assume no liability for data loss – in particular the loss of deleted photos –, downtime, or indirect damages, except in the case of a breach of essential contractual obligations.

11. Data Protection

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Applicable Law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction is – to the extent legally permissible – Freiburg im Breisgau.
